Evening meditation Father Georges Bidzogo sac
The God I serve is able to deliver me (Daniel 3:17) We all remember the story of Chadrac, Michac, and Abednego accused of serving a God other than King Nabuchadenezzar. As punishment, they are thrown into the fire furnace.
The three young Jews do not panic. They knew that the God who loves them is able to deliver them from the power of the king (Dan 3:17).
We live in similar situations every day. Perhaps our bodies and our souls are under attack from enemies, sorcerers, Satan and his angels. We live night and day in a fiery furnace. Our relationships, our finances, our business, our health, our marriage, our studies, our projects, in any case nothing works. We are in a fiery furnace. Son and daughters of God, The God of Chadrac, Michac and Abenego is able to deliver you. It’s my God; It’s your God who took flesh in Jesus Christ. He is Almighty and he reigns (Revelation 19: 6). His greatness and power surpass everything for those who believe in him (Eph 1:19). Does he not tell us in the Gospel according to St Matthew that: "For men (certain things are impossible) but for God, It’s your God who took flesh in Jesus Christ. He is Almighty and he reigns (Revelation 19: 6). His greatness and power surpass everything for those who believe in him (Eph 1:19). He does not say to us in the Gospel according to St Mathieu that: "For men (certain things are impossible) but for God, Everything is possible". (Mt19: 26). Is there something so difficult for God? he asked Abraham this question in the book of Genesis 18:14. When the time comes, he said, when I return here next year, your wife Sara will have a child. May the god of Chadrac, Michac and Abednego who delivered you in Jesus Christ, descend into your life and into your family this evening. May he deliver you from all your distress, from all illnesses, from all curses, from incantations, from all physical, spiritual, financial, emotional and intellectual blockages in the name of Jesus. Amen. The God I serve is able to deliver me. (Read Ephesians 6: 10-18).
